Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join their dynamic team in North Carolina. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful operation and management of office, retail, and mixed-use properties, with a strong focus on maximizing asset value and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the property management team to ensure office, retail, and mixed-use assets are operated and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Drive operational strategies that maximize property performance while achieving financial objectives.
  • Manage capital improvement initiatives, renovations, and tenant build-outs from planning through completion.
  • Partner with the accounting team on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, lease analysis, and capital planning.
  • Review monthly and quarterly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and providing key insights to leadership.
  • Oversee leasing activity and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external brokerage partners to drive occupancy goals.
  • Analyze market conditions and portfolio opportunities to develop and execute strategies that optimize asset value and profitability.
  • Evaluate acquisition opportunities and support portfolio growth through market analysis and financial assessment.
  • Coordinate and lead due diligence efforts related to acquisitions, dispositions, and other strategic real estate transactions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in asset management, particularly within the real estate sector.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide a diverse property management team.
  • Exceptional financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans to optimize property performance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using property management software and tools for reporting and analysis.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift.
